Information how to obtain and use Get Active Kids Vouchers

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and recreation activities by reimbursing the cost of membership and registration fees, uniforms and equipment. Eligible children may be able to receive up to $200 each.

Sunshine Leisure Centre is an approved location and we can provide a statement of fees paid for lessons to eligible families.

To apply for a Get Active Kids voucher you must be:

• the parent or legal guardian, temporary foster or kinship carer of an eligible child,
• the holder of a valid Australian Government Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with named dependants.

There are specific dates (claim periods) when you can apply. You must have incurred your expenses within specific dates too.

There is a total of 100,000 vouchers available from 1 March 2021 until 17 April 2022.

Subject to availability, you can apply for up to two vouchers for each eligible child from 1 March 2021 to 17 April 2022. However, you can only apply for one voucher per child in a claim period.
