Sunshine Leisure Centre
Sunshine Outdoor Pool Works:
The current stage of the investigations found multiple visual leaks in the pool liner and associated infrastructure. The pool requires further pressure testing to the pipework under the structure which will continue this week. We will continue to provide updates to Sunshine users via email, posters and social media as we receive information.
Lift:
Works to replace the lift continue. The demolition phase has been completed and we are waiting on the delivery of the new lift. These works are quite significant and will take some time. You will see contractors undertaking work in this time, and a change in the walk way route to the gym. We will do our best to minimise impact to your visit. We appreciate your patience as we work through this.
Painting & Signage:
Painting to the gym foyer area is now completed. We are contiuing to freshen up the facility with a coat of paint and new signage throughout.
Tables and Chairs:
You will have noticed some new tables and chairs around the facility for you to enjoy. Please treat the furniture with respect.
Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre
Splash Park and Pool
Additional works to be announced to finalise repairs and maintenance of the floor area of the splash park and pool.
New Gym Stretch Area
Carpet is the most recent addition to the new dedicated stretching area making it feel like a cosier place for recovery and warm up.
