National Swimming and Water Safety Framework

A useful resource for parents to understand the importance of swimming

National Swimming and Water Safety Framework

The new National Swimming and Water Safety Framework, developed in partnership with industry organisations, published today sets out three key swimming benchmarks for children at age 6, 12 and 17 years. This Framework is an important resource for parents to understand the lifelong benefits that learning to swim provides.

Given the wide-ranging impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic on parents and industry alike, it is vital more than ever for everyone to realise the essential role that swimming plays in the nation’s long-term health and wellbeing, and drowning prevention. Find out more at https://bit.ly/2DFzAkV
