Sunshine Leisure Centre Outdoor Pool.

The Sunshine Leisure Centre Outdoor Pool “winter” operating hours are now in effect.
The Outdoor pools are open between 6am – 11am & 4pm-7pm Weekdays and 8am – 12pm Weekends.
 
At present, the outdoor pool operates for 50 Hours per week between March and November when compared to 78 hours between December and February.
We are one of the few outdoor pools in Victoria who offer all year round operation of our outdoor pools.
The Sunshine Leisure Centre outdoor pool winter operation trial period has been underway for the last two seasons. (excluding COVID shutdown).
During this trial we have been closely tracking user visits in order to ascertain the long term viability of operating the outdoor pool in winter.
 
We also understand that weather can play a part in the decision of customers visiting our outdoor pool. On days where Melbourne’s weather is favorable and we expect higher numbers of visits we plan to extend hours as we have done a number of times throughout March.
